Urbinati RP1 Tray Filling Machine

The new template filler RP1 comes from Urbinati’s know-how and its Engineering team. RP1 Template filler combines the excellent technology used on other Urbinati tray fillers, already working World-wide, and the capability to use both shuttle or marketing trays, with round or square pots shape. Pots are filled uniformly and without waste soil between them thanks to custom-made masks. Soil density and compaction are adjusted by the cross-rotor using steel blades, one of the machine’s core parts. The main rotor’s functions (speed, direction of blades rotation and number of passes) are controlled by PLC and easily programmable via touch-screen.

The RP1 handles trays up to a total height of 200 mm (tray and pots upper edge) adjusting the central group’ height: this allows the machine to match working needs keeping the belt conveyor height fixed. This is a big advantage in case RP1 is assembled in line with other machines.
